The nature of the information you wish to display greatly influences the feather flag model you choose. For instance, if your design centres around a square or round logo, the Teardrop model or the M-Wide variants like Straight, Convex, Concave, and Angled might be ideal. However, if you're primarily showcasing text or a website, the Shark model could be your best pick. A noteworthy mention is the Convex model, recognised for its durability, especially in windy conditions due to its rounded finish.
Indoor or outdoor feather flags?
Once you've chosen a model, deciding on the flag's size becomes paramount. The location, whether indoors or outdoors, can influence this choice. For indoor settings, consider ceiling heights. Additionally, if needed, you can trim the aluminium portion of the flagpole for a better fit.
Choice of pocket colour
Your feather flag's finishing touch is its pocket colour - choose between black and white at no extra cost. Crafted from robust materials, these pockets enhance the flag's lifespan. Although custom colours for pockets are available, they're fashioned from standard flag material and might not be as durable. The pocket colour usually complements the primary flag colour, but sometimes contrasting colours can create a striking effect.
The ground surface at the feather flag's location
The flag's installation site is another consideration. Different bases suit different terrains. For softer grounds like sand or grass, ground pins or screw bases are suitable. Indoors, you might opt for cross bases or ground plates. For a consistent placement, wall-mounted brackets come in handy, facilitating easy flag set up and removal. For outdoor settings, we recommend a feather flag base with a rotating pin.
Considering your budget
The size of the flag, materials used, and additional features influence the cost. While a larger flag uses more material and incurs higher labour charges, you can also opt for different materials based on your needs and budget. Our standard single-sided printed feather flags offer a budget-friendly option, whereas the double-sided flags, displaying information accurately regardless of wind direction, command a slightly higher price.
