Feather flag bases
When you position your feather flag indoors, you'll require a different base than for outdoor use. If you use the flag indoors or on a solid surface like concrete, you won't be able to secure them correctly to the ground. We offer several solutions for placing your feather flag on solid surfaces. For instance, you might opt for the standard cross base or the luxury cross base. For indoor usage, a ground plate is also a suitable choice. For more demanding conditions, you might consider the feather flag holder, which can be filled with water or sand up to 20kg (44lbs)! A water bag, in grey or black, which we offer separately or as part of a package, can be useful for the cross bases and ground plates. Fill the water bag to add an additional 10kg (22lb) to your cross base or ground plate. With the water bag, your feather flag will stand more stable.
If you wish to position your feather flag outdoors, consider using a ground spike or screw base. These bases are robust, ensuring the feather flag remains upright even in more windy conditions. An added advantage of these bases is that they fit into the bag of the feather flag. We provide ground spikes in metal and screw bases in plastic or metal. The ground spike is the most durable among the three models. With its rotating 16,5mm (0,65inch) pin and chrome finish, this spike is our best-selling base. If the ground is soft, such as beach sand or snow, a screw base or plastic screw might be suitable. The screw base comes as standard with a rotating pin, allowing the feather flag to turn with the wind.
If feasible, you can utilise a wall mount bracket to affix your feather flag to a wall or pole using screws or bolts. A significant benefit of this method of mounting is that the position of the feather flags remains constant, day after day. Regarding the wall mounting brackets, we offer a variety of choices. You could choose for a wall bracket with a mounting angle parallel to the wall, right-angled or 45 degrees. All our wall mounting brackets come with a rotating pin fitted with bearings.
